What is the age limit for painting at Green Frog Pottery?

You should be able to atleast hold a paint brush, ideally. Age is just a number.

Do I need to book?

Yes please! This is so helpful for us on the planning side of things and especially on Saturdays and during school breaks. Otherwise, please feel free to walk in on Thursday and Fridays when it is generally quieter.

Is there parking?

Parking is directly infront of the Studio (maximum 1 hour)or there is paid parking on Geraldine road. Copy and Paste the link which will show you all the places to park in Malvern

Are the paints toxic or do I need to protect my clothes?

No, the underglazes are non toxic and they will wash right out of any clothes.

How long is the session booked for? and when do I pick up my piece once fired?

You have 2 hours to complete your masterpiece. If however, there are no customers booked in right after you, you are welcome to stay for longer and take your time to get it right! The piece will be ready to collect 7-10 days later.

Can I bring food and drink with me?

We sell cold drinks so please buy those in Studio, If you would prefer a warm drink, however, feel free to bring your own or grab one on the Green ahead of joining us. Food is a bad idea with this craft, as the grease on fingers repels the paint so it may affect the final outcome but if you wanted to bring a snack feel free.

How long until I get my piece back after painting?

It will be 7-10 days. During busy periods it may be a full 14 days later. And then you can collect on Thursday, Friday or Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 12-4pm.

What if I am visiitng whilst on holiday in the area..do you post?

Yes I can post your fired items to you for a small surcharge.

Do you have booster seats?

Yes, we have 2 booster seats. Please let me know if you will need one ahead of your booking.

If I received a voucher as a gift, do I still need to book?

Yes please! But just email us on info@greenfrogpottery.co.uk and we can make the booking for you.

Is there disabled access?

The front door is wide enough for a standard wheelchair, however, access to the toilet will not be possible in a wheelchair.

How do I book for a party of more than 6?

If you are having a celebration with us, please email us at info@greenfrogpottery.co.uk. A £10 deposit per person will be required to make a booking of more than 6.

How much does it cost?

The cost is listed per item on the Click and Collect product page. The price includes the item, the underglaze paints, glaze and firing. Items range from £5 (for a 4 inch tile) to £70 for a large fruit bowl.

Can you make something customised for me?

We are happy to help with customising items, if you would like something custom but don't know where to start. Please email us to book an appointment to talk about what you would like.

Is the finished item dishwasher safe?

Washing by hand is the best things for all pieces that you use. These are afterall, hand painted artisan pieces!

How long does a session last?

The bookings are for 2 hours but if it is not fully booked you are very welcome to stay until you are completely happy with your paintwork.
